Narendra Modi is undoubtedly a remarkable Prime Minister. Under his esteemed leadership, India has not only made strides in economic, social, and cultural domains but has also elevated national defense and security. The Union Budget 2024–25 allocated ₹6.22 lakh crore to the Defense Ministry, showing Modi’s prioritization of the nation’s security. This allocation, nearly a 5% increase from the previous year, underscores the government’s commitment to continuous improvement in the defense sector.

I am Sitaram Poswal, from a rural area in Rajasthan, where our young men serve dedicatedly in defense services. This budget supports India’s borders and fulfills the aspirations of our youth who take pride in our defense forces. The defense pension budget increased to ₹1.41 lakh crore, demonstrating the government’s recognition of soldiers’ and veterans’ contributions. Young leader of Bjp Rajasthan sees this as a testament to valuing our warriors and their families, with ₹6,968 crore allocated for health and medical care (ECHS).

Additionally, ₹6,500 crore for border road development and ₹7,651 crore for coastal security reflect a comprehensive vision for inclusive growth. The budget’s quadrupling of innovation funds to ₹518 crore highlights Modi’s forward-thinking approach. This allocation will foster entrepreneurship and indigenous technological solutions, promoting self-reliance in defense.

Our Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh, emphasized that the 2024–25 defense budget will aid in building a prosperous and self-reliant ‘Developed India.’ With ₹1.72 lakh crore for capital acquisitions, the armed forces will be equipped with modern weapons and technologies. This allocation ensures that our soldiers remain prepared to swiftly address any challenges.

Under PM Modi’s leadership, the defense budget has bolstered India’s security while driving the nation towards self-reliance and strength.
