Our Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh, emphasized that the 2024–25 defense budget will aid in building a prosperous and self-reliant ‘Developed India.’ With ₹1.72 lakh crore for capital acquisitions, the armed forces will be equipped with modern weapons and technologies. This allocation ensures that our soldiers remain prepared to swiftly address any challenges.

In the realm of water supply, the Rajasthan government has allocated ₹15,000 crores under the 'Jal Jeevan Mission' to provide drinking water to 25 lakh rural households. Additionally, ₹20,370 crores have been earmarked for six major drinking water projects. Under the 'Amrit 2.0 Yojana', ₹5,180 crores will be allocated for drinking water projects in 183 towns over two years.

For energy, the government has developed a ten-year plan to produce 20,500 MW from conventional sources and 33,600 MW from renewable sources by 2031-32, with a budget of ₹2,25,000 crores. Solar energy parks will be developed in various locations, and the 'PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme' will establish model solar villages in every district.

The government has also committed ₹60,000 crores for developing a 53,000-kilometer road network over the next five years, including state highways, bypass roads, flyovers, elevated roads, and bridges.

The three new laws, effective from July 1, 2024, mark the beginning of a new era in India's criminal justice system. With these laws, cases will be resolved faster, and the days of repeated court dates will end.
